A predominant use study prepared by our expert, Tom Eldred, will verify your company’s qualifications for utility tax reductions or exemptions. Tom is an experienced electrical engineer who specializes in predominant use studies. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently a member of the National Association of Energy Engineers. Tom has prepared predominant use studies for many different types of manufacturing facilities, food processors, recycling companies, assisted living centers and golf courses.
Tom Eldred began his career as an electrical engineer by working for a utility company. His experience and expertise with utilities has proven to be invaluable when dealing with the kinds of utility tax cost issues that are revealed during the preparation of a predominant use study. Tom has also participated in high-voltage utility system design and construction projects, provided engineering expertise in electrical power design and layout projects, assisted companies with their utility contract negotiations and helped to reduce their electrical operating costs by advising improved demand-side management policies.
